An amazingly well proportioned, detailed toy. Similarly blade heavy as the real thing, and at 87cm it is not that far off the length of the genuine article. It has as a lovely touch the Ulfberhtesq writing in the fuller.
I find that the typical bar pommel and short handle does force your hand to grip in different ways that HEMA instructors Roland Warzecha and Matt Easton have demonstrated. Once you've adapted your grip the sword handles really well and feels amazing! I'm really looking forward to using this sword and it's 'Black Prince' brother to demonstrate the development of swords over the medieval period at the Canterbury Tales' new educational schools package.
