  • Crusader Sword

This is an exact replica of the sword used by the Templar Rene from the movie Soldier of God. The Oakeshott Type XVa sword marks the transition between the one-handed swords of the High Middle Ages and the hand and a half swords. Our Crusader sword is an excellent example of this type. It is similar to a normal type XV, but its tapering blade has a diamond-shaped cross-section and is somewhat longer and slimmer. The hardwood grip wrapped with black leather is a little longer than a typical one-handed sword, so it can also be used comfortably with two hands. The pommel and the crossguard with flattened sides are decorated with crosses on both sides – the ones on the crossguard are painted red. This hand forged Crusader sword with crosses is made of carbon steel and includes a black leather scabbard with a mount and chape.

  • Historical Excalibur

    1 Review(s)

If King Arthur actually existed many historians place him as a war leader seeking to halt the invasion of the Saxons after the fall of Rome. There are many indications that England did, after a time of much strife, have a brief period of peace and prosperity in what is now called the "Dark Ages". This sword is of a type that was widely in use during this period and would be what a hard-fighting warrior would prefer. Nicely balanced, well-tempered high carbon steel blade offset with antiqued brass parts.

  • Classic Medieval Sword

A transition from the Viking sword to the classic medieval sword, our medieval sword is probably Oakeshott type X. Swords like this one were very popular for centuries. The double-edged, hardly tapered blade has a long, relatively wide fuller which makes it balance very well. The curved, flared crossguard provides lots of protection for your hand. Thanks to its leather covering, the grip is comfortable to grasp. The wheel pommel is riveted. Our classic medieval sword comes with a scabbard.

  • Lionheart Sword of King Richard

King Richard I of England, known as “Coeur de Lion”, the Lionheart, was the greatest leader of the Third Crusades and a master battlefield tactician. This magnificent sword, made by the expert bladesmiths of Windlass Steelcrafts, is a testimony to this stalwart leader. The hand-forged, 1065 high carbon steel blade is etched with his Latin motto, "Dieu et mon droit" meaning “God and My Right.” The lavish pommel, crossguard and grip decorations have been plated in 24 Karat gold with faux rubies set in the eyes of the lion on the pommel. A soft black leather wrapping finishes this sturdy grip. This stunning sword includes a matching, period-accurate wooden scabbard, again covered in soft, black leather and adorned with gold-plated fittings of lions and crosses; befitting the Lion of the Crusades. Dual sets of buckled long-belts are attached.

  • Joinville Sword

Sire De Joinville was a French knight known for his bravery and his devotion to his King. During the 7th Crusade, Sire De Joinville was attacked by a Saracen after having already lost his lance. De Joinville avoided the first attack, tucked his sword under his arm as you would a lance, charged, and slew the Saracen. His valorous action inspired the choice of his name for this beautiful sword. They were very popular in France in the early 15th century.

The whole style of this blade is quite lovely, with elegant, simple lines that emphasize its style.

The sword is well balanced. The handle is polished hardwood with 2 brass ferrules.

    Blade Length: 81cm
    Width: 5.7cm
