  • Assassin's Creed II Ezio Saber

The hit computer game "Assassin's Creed" revolves around assassins in various historical epochs. In the second part of the game, players become Ezio Auditore da Firenze, an assassin on the loose in 15th century Italy.

The Assassin's Creed II Ezio Sabre is a detail-rich reproduction of the sabre in the game and exhibits all the characteristics of a slender, elegant Renaissance weapon. Of tempered carbon steel, the narrow blade is bent backwards and in true sabre fashion is sharp on only one side. Curving around the assassin's hand and over the grip is an open work quarter basket of finely decorated ribs and rings for protection. Black leather wraps around the grip as does wire, diagonally. The forward bent pommel, the basket and the blade have been antiqued to give the Assassin's Creed II Ezio Sabre an appropriately scuffed look.

  • Prince of Wales’s 30th Light Dragoons Officer's Sabre

Our British Light Dragoons Sabre is a replica of the swords carried by the Prince of Wales’s 30th Light Dragoon Regiments from 1794-1796. A similar sword was carried by the Princes of Wales’s 10th Light Dragoon Regiments (still in existence as the 10th Royal Hussars). The 30th Light Dragoons Regiment only existed for a couple of years, making this sword both rare and collectable. The National Army Museum in London has one of the few surviving originals in its collection.

This officer’s sabre distinguishes itself from a standard troopers sabre in that it features an etched guard. The engraving on the right side reads ‘’OR Princess of Wales’s Light Dragoons XXX’’.  The left side features the cypher of the Princes of Wales with the motto ‘’Ich Dien’’ - meaning ‘’I serve’’.

Our British Light Dragoons Sabre features a forged and tempered, high carbon steel blade. The guard and pommel are steel and side either side of a varnished wooden grip. The grip is sandwiched over the tang and riveted in place. The wooden scabbard is covered with black leather and reinforced with extensive steel hilt fittings.

    Total length: 100cm

    Handle length: 10cm
    Blade thickness: 7mm - 3.7mm

  • US Cavalry Sabre M1906

Please be aware that this image has been flipped. This is a right-handed sword and the guard will sit on the outside of the right hand.

Mounted soldiers played a central role in the military history of the United States: From the American Revolutionary War (1775 - 1783) up to the American Civil War (1861 - 1865) mobile and powerful riders were a central part of US troops.

The US Cavalry sabre M1906 comes from the time a few years before the First World War - just before the cavalry was largely superseded by mechanized units such as tanks, trucks and air force.

Its design combines centuries of experience in forging swords with the simple beauty of advanced steel forging. The hand-forged blade is made of hardened carbon steel with a stabilizing groove that saves weight and plays an important role in balancing the sword. On one side of the blade is marked US JC and on the other side is a flaming bomb logo with the text A.S.Co. 1906
