  • Classical Swept Hilt Rapier

Exceptional not only for its exquisite beauty, this rapier is reproduced from an original in the collection of Hank Reinhardt. This sword shows off one of the more graceful and sublime designs from a period when no two swords were made exactly alike. (There were often tremendous differences between rapiers because of varying amounts of skill of the blade maker, the hilt maker, and the cutler who assembled them.) This particular swept-hilt design, which is truly a work-of-art, was in use for over a hundred years. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts, this light, fast and quick rapier uses a high carbon steel blade. Scabbard included. This weapon is featured in Deadly Duels.

  • Damascus Viking Sword

Excavations of a number of circa 850-900 Viking swords turned up this lovely Damascus specimen in Finland. It has the lobed pommel loved by the Norsemen, but the cross guard contrasts slightly with the typical downcurved versions. The early style blade is well-suited to the quick, slashing blows of the Viking warrior. It is forged from high carbon Damascus steel. It is polished with the fuller etched to show the Damascus construction of the blade. The pommel and cross guard are steel and the grip is leather wrapped wood. The scabbard is wood covered in leather with steel mounts. This is a true fighting sword and one that any Viking would be proud to carry in battle.

  • German Longsword

We call this elegant edged weapon a "German Longsword," but this type of blade was widely used in Europe during the Late Middle Ages. Its slender shape, acute point and lack of fuller predetermine this sword for use as a thrusting weapon against knightly plate armor. Wielding this blade with two hands greatly increased the probability of scoring a hit in the enemy's weak spot. Our German long sword features a hilt with a striking design: the meander incised in the crossguard is repeated in the pear-shaped pommel. The wooden grip is wrapped in smooth, brown leather for increased control and comfort.

Our German Longsword comes with a brown leather scabbard including a mount and chape.

  • US Navy Cutlass M1860 - Gold

Since 1860, the US Navy Cutlass M1860 Gold has been produced for the American armed forces at sea – just in time for the American Civil War! It replaces model M1841, and was inspired by the French Navy saber. The curved blade typical of sabers has a wide fuller that ends at the same place the broad back does – the spot where the false edge starts. Its blade geometry gives the US Navy Cutlass M1860 Gold a relatively light weight, but it was also made to be slightly top-heavy to give cuts more power. Held in place by a riveted pommel and the 24 K gold-plated full knuckle bow at the hand guard, the wooden grip of this naval cutlass is covered in leather and wrapped with twisted, golden wire. The US Navy Cutlass M1860 Gold comes with a matching leather scabbard with belt loop and a cloth bag for transport and storage.

  • Sword of Robin Hood

    1 Review(s)

Our original Robin Hood sword is the licensed replica from "Robin Hood," the Universal Pictures movie directed by Ridley Scott. Made of hand forged carbon steel, this licensed Robin Hood sword is just like the sword in the movie – down to the smallest detail. The unusual hilt is a very special eye-catcher. The hardwood grip is set with decorative turquoise cabochons and the steel has been treated to look old. The inscription made famous in the movie is engraved on the steel surfaces at the sides: "Rise and rise again" or "Until lambs become lions." The octagonal pommel is riveted and decorated with the cross pattée favoured by crusaders. Our original Robin Hood sword includes a decorative shield with the Loxley family coat of arms that you can hang on the wall and use to display the sword.

  • English Two-Hand Sword

Two handed swords were the scourge of late medieval battlefields. Due to their slender blades. these dreaded cutting weapons were also able to deliver well-placed thrusts. The wide crossguard with rounded finials has an elaborate langet and the solid, riveted fish tail pommel makes this English two handed sword extremely well-balanced. The relatively angular grip is wrapped with dark violet leather, which adds a special touch to its simple elegance. This edged weapon is a replica of sword number IV.1787 from the Royal Armories in the Tower of London.

  • The Eagle - Eagle Head Gladius

This official gladius is a detail-rich replica of the eagle sword from the movie. Of tempered carbon steel, the blade tapers from the cross guard into a kind of waistline, widening again before the point. This style of blade was named after Mainz, Germany, its place of discovery, and is the highest quality variant of the Roman gladius. The leaf-shaped Mainz blade was sturdier, heaver and better balanced than the Pompeii and Hispanicum styles. Officers in particular were equipped with this kind of gladius.

You can tell from the elaborate decoration of this gladius that this isn't a mere legionary sword. The finely crafted grip with decorative patterns ends seamlessly in the sculptural eagle head – by far the most distinctive feature on this exceptional sword. Covered with dark leather, the wooden scabbard boasts richly decorated metal plates. The relief on the chape shows a ruler surrounded by soldiers, and depicted on the throat is a legionary standing in front of a Roman temple. On the central plates there are classical Roman laurel vines completed by a laurel wreath insignia in the middle of the scabbard. A leather shoulder strap is attached with metal rings to the scabbard. All metal parts have been artificially antiqued to give the Eagle Head Gladius an especially battle-tested look.

  • Sword of Baldur

In the pantheon of Norse deities, Baldur was the son of Odin and Frigg (thus a sibling to Thor and Loki) and as such, was destined to reign after Odin. Baldur is known as a figure who bestows joy to all those who share his company. Old Norse poetry relates the death of Baldur as a tragedy and a harbinger of Ragnarok.

In honor of lesser-known siblings everywhere, we've designed this classic Viking sword as a tribute to the fairest member of Asgard. The leather grip of this sword is laser engraved with the three runes that we feel most befit the Norse God. Some scholars believe the name Baldur translates to "bold" so the rune of courage has been added. In her attempt to save Baldur from harm, Frigg asked all things to swear never to harm him (except mistletoe) so the rune of protection has also been included. Finally, Baldur was also known to always be prepared for battle, so the rune of strength completes the array.

The blade is etched with runes that roughly can be translated as the spelling of "Baldur". The leather sheath (with integral belt) is covered with a layer of black suede that is adorned with top grain lace, throat, and chape. The throat and chape bear a Viking symbol for the sun, as Baldur was known as a shining light to all who knew him.

  • Erbach Bastard Sword

    1 Review(s)

Franz, Count of Erbach-Erbach was famous for his collection of antiques exhibited in his castle at the beginning of the 19th century and in his great hall he had an extensive collection of old German weapons. The original, from around 1480, of this German hand and a half sword was among the swords in his astonishing collection.

During the 15th century armour had reached the peak of effectiveness. To combat this, an improved sword design was required. The Erbach sword is an excellent example of this class of swords. This Renaissance weapon can be assigned to the “Oakeshott Type XVIIIa without fuller” category. Well balanced, it could be used single handed, or with two hands to deliver a powerful blow or a deadly thrust. This sword features a very beautiful steel hilt as the crossguard twists toward its ends, which have the same twist as the pommel riveted firmly in its place. Leather sheath with steel fittings is included. Can be seen in Records Of The Medieval Sword by Ewart Oakeshott.
