Combining the ideals of noble knights and religious monks was as much of a historical innovation as the Crusades themselves were.

The battling Christians were highly visible on account of their white garb, which bore a contrasting red cross pattee. Our reproduction of the long, full white cape they wore is historically accurate. It is made of two layers of 100 percent cotton: a white, textured outer layer lined in the same red as the large cross at the left front. This Templar Knights cape fastens at the throat with sturdy ties and measures almost 150 cm from the shoulder seam down.

In the second half of the 15th century, the art of crafting plate armour reached its peak when it came to fusing form with function. Despite its weight, heavy plate armour allows the warrior wearing it enough freedom of movement.

This light mail is made of aluminium links that have been flattened, riveted shut and then chemically darkened. The outer diameter of rings is about 1/2".

Stage combat swords have to meet different requirements than battle-ready swords do. In order to minimize the risk of injury from cuts and thrusts during stage combat with swords, this one-handed stage combat sword has back edges that are at least 3.5 mm thick everywhere and it even has a rounded point.

The thick blade of our one-handed stage combat sword makes it somewhat more top-heavy than a comparable battle-ready sword would be. The grip is ridged in three places and is wrapped in genuine leather for increased control and comfort. Our one-handed stage combat sword has a riveted wheel pommel typical of swords that were made between the 10th and 15th centuries, but the curved crossguard places it firmly in the 14th/15th century. This one-handed stage combat sword includes a scabbard made of genuine leather with a mount and chape.

Our Knights Hospitaller Nasal Helmet is a replica of the helmet worn by “the Hospitaller” in Ridley Scott’s “Kingdom of Heaven”. It is constructed from 18 gauge steel and features a hinged nasal bar, leather liner and buckled chin strap.

This glorious 13th-century helmet is worthy of King Ferdinand III of Castile and representative of many helms of that period around Europe. Our replica is modeled directly on an English manuscript of circa 1250, held by the British Library (catalog number BL Royal 2 A XXII 'Westminster Psalter'). Folio 220 shows the kneeling and praying knight, with the great helm held above his head.

Starting in 1860, US Navy M1860 cutlasses were manufactured for the US Navy in Chicopee, MA. They continued to be used after the Civil War broke out. Our replica has the marks you would expect to see on an original: "USN DR 1862" and "AMESMFGCO CHICOPEE MASS" to show that the cutlass is military issue and who manufactured it.

Heavily influenced by the sabre used by the French navy, our US Navy Cutlass M1860 is a replica of the model that replaced the M1841. The slightly curved blade has a wide fuller that ends in the area of the point where the broad backstops and the false edge begins. The blade geometry of the M1860 makes it extraordinarily light. Held in place by a riveted pommel and the full knuckle bow at the hand guard, the wooden grip of this naval cutlass is covered in leather and wrapped with twisted, golden wire. It includes a leather scabbard with a frog for holding the scabbard.
