The hilts feature authentically styled forged guards and pommels constructed from steel, and wooden grips that are masterfully wrapped in leather cord for an aesthetic yet comfortable finish.

They come complete with leather-wrapped wooden scabbards and authentically styled integrated leather belts.

Our Red Dragon HEMA Tournament Fencing Mask has been developed for the serious practitioner. For many HEMA activities our standard Red Dragon HEMA Mask will suffice, but if you are looking for something with a higher level of protection, or looking to fight in tournaments, our Red Dragon Tournament Fencing Mask will perfectly suit your needs. This CEN 2 mask comes in HEMA Black and features a 1600 newton bib, removable washable liner (handwash only) and heavy-duty adjustable strap. Available in Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.

Sizing for fencing masks are based on your vertical head circumference.

If you do not have a mask you already wear, measure your face by taking a tape measure, holding it underneath your chin with your mouth slightly open, from under your jaw, up past your ear, past the top of your head, down past your other ear, and back down to the bottom of your chin (from where you started).

Our Tourney Series Sparring and Stage Swords will set a new standard in this price point of re-enactment weaponry. Features like thru-tang handle construction, peened stainless steel pommel and guard and 2mm rounded edge thickness. 

The cord wrapped leather grip feels exceptional in the hand with an oval cross section and slight barrel shape to keep fatigue at bay. The grip is large enough to accommodate armoured hands. A respectable fuller runs the length of the blade to lighten and counter balance the sword overall.

The blade is forged from 9260 spring steel and is tempered to around 50 Hrc. A wood core and leather wrapped scabbard tipped with a stainless chape comes with each sword. The guard needs special mention, featuring the King-Peen system. King-Peen is essentially a steel tab on the guard under the grip that is pinned through the tang of the sword. This process keeps the guard from working loose without compromising the strength of the hilt. The pommel is pressed into place and hot peened.

Our HEMA Light Sparring Jacket by Red Dragon is designed for HEMA and is constructed from a 350N rated heavy-duty cotton with an inner lining. The jacket features less padding than our HEMA Sparring Jacket and is better suited to single hand weapons such as rapier and sabre.

This jacket has no padding on the back as it is very rare to receive effective blows here – especially from rapiers and sabres. This has the effect of reducing the weight of the jacket whilst increasing the breathability. It also does not have padding on the inside of the arms reducing the weight further.

The padded collar features a blade catcher to help protect against stray thrusts that may go under the bib of a fencing mask.  The back of the jacket features an adjustable webbing strap with Velcro attachment which allows it to be pulled in at the waist for a more streamlined fit.
