Our Japanese kabuto & menpo are superbly constructed, beautifully detailed and a great value. Models AH2082/2083/2088 replicate the helms of the great Samurai Takeda Shingen, Oda Nobunaga and Date Masamune respectively.Model AH2081, based on a museum piece of unknown provenance, doubles as an exquisite stand for a katana and wakizashi set. All four pieces are equipped with leather liners (ukebari) allowing them to be worn. Custom-designed wooden display stands are included. The museum-quality reproductions of these archaeological treasures have been hand crafted by the metalsmiths of Hanwei with exacting attention to detail. The helmets are fully wearable and are supplied with a display stand.

Our Great Bascinet is handcrafted in Italy by time-served craftsmen.  It is constructed from 20 gauge steel with a brushed finish and features a pivoting visor and buckled leather straps. This helmet is designed for display or theatrical use and is not suitable for contact re-enactment.

Our skull of our Great Bascinet is constructed from 12 gauge steel making is incredibly durable. The rest of the helmet is constructed from 14 gauge steel.  It features a well-padded adjustable liner and buckled leather chin strap. The visor can be easily removed if required by removing the fixing pins. Perfect for re-enactment.

Although it is based on a historical model, combat specialists have modified this helmet turning it into an essential piece for any battle or melee.   It provides maximum protection without sacrificing an iota of vision. The visor can be removed quickly and easily if required by removing the hinge pins. The visor also has a locking system that holds it in place when raised. When the visor is lowered it is held closed by a hook on one side and a buckled strap on the other for extra security. Constructed from 14 gauge steel with a satin finish. Features a well-padded lining and buckled leather chin strap.

Made of 2.5 mm steel making it great for HMB and Re-enactment. Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafted methods used in its manufacture. The steel is untreated and may have rust. To protect the steel you may rub it with mineral or synthetic oil. Leather chin strap included.
