Celtic Deer Pendant

The Celtic god Cernunnos sometimes appeared as a hart. He was a god of fertility and nature. When his image was chiselled in stone he was often given horns like the ones he is wearing on the Pillar of the Boatmen in Paris. The figure of a hart stamping on a snake signifies the fight between good and evil or light against darkness. This is the same motif that decorates our Celtic Cernunnos pendant made of antiqued brass that hangs by a ring from a genuine leather cord.

The total length of the leather cord is approx. 78 cm and the hart pendant measures approx. 4.2 cm in diameter.
