This ceremonial sword from award-winning series "The Tudors" (two Emmy awards for Outstanding Costumes, etc.) was designed for the Henry VIII character, who used it frequently. Henry VIII was best known for his way with women, but he was also a weapon aficionado and had many blades forged to his own designs.
This handcrafted ceremonial sword has a steel blade. Very wide at the base, it tapers to an acute point and has a fuller that runs three-quarters of its length. The crossguard and extremely decorative wheel pommel with an embossed Tudor rose are gold-plated, and the hardwood grip is wrapped with black leather and golden wire.
Our Henry VIII sword from The Tudors comes with a black leather scabbard featuring a mount and chape.
