  • Open Face Sallet - 16 gauge

The sallet was a war helmet that replaced the bascinet in Italy, western and northern Europe and Hungary during the mid-15th century. In Italy, France and England the armet helmet was also popular, but in Germany, the sallet became almost universal. The large amount of artistic representation and original pieces indicate that even with a slight German predominancy, this was a common choice of helmet throughout Europe.

  • Crusader Great Helm - 16 gauge - Brass

The Great Helm, which began to be seen on the battlefield as early as the 13th century on its earliest forms proved to be a winning design to be used almost for the next three centuries.
