Persian Scimitar
The Persians used saber-like swords called "shamshir" or scimitar. Our Persian scimitar has a slender, single-edged blade with a long fuller. It is parallel for around half of it length, when it begins to taper to a point and curve at the same time. These edged weapons were designed to be used by mounted warriors. With a scimitar, you can apply cutting and thrusting techniques with equal effect. The wooden grip is decorated with metal riveting and curved like a pistol grip. The crossguard is shaped like an elongated cross and is indeed decorated with the Persian cross fleury. The langet provides extra support for the hilt and blade. This crossguard shape is characteristic of all scimitar-type swords. A scabbard is included.

Musketeer Rapier
The musket, though the prime weapon of the French Musketeers, was a cumbersome firearm, both to load and fire. A good rapier was a necessary second weapon. Our Musketeer rapier is fashioned after those circa 1590. The basket hilt is ambidextrous and a very effective mix of both the cup-hilt and swept-hilt styles. The grip is wood wrapped with twisted wire and the parts of the hilt are plated with gleaming nickel silver.
