The Tiger Elite Katana features a hand forged and folded Performance Series katana blade and some of the finest fittings available Designed for multiple cuts in normal targets, the Tiger Elite Katana is equally at home as a cutting blade or showpiece. The K120C powder steel blade makes for superior edge holding and cutting ability. The koshirae are crafted in blackened bronze and detailed in gold. The blackened iron tsuba features a ‘stalking tiger’ motif. The Tsuka features finest quality Same (Rayskin) while the tsuka-ito and sageo are woven in premium Japanese cotton.

the hanwei choice of tsuba lenght is not too long for me personally i have large hands and that little added space between right and left hand gripholds is a deciding factor in a good cut, The forge method makes for excellent edge retention,it wont roll as easy as some might say and it cuts like a lazer, Most of all the beautifull croutching tiger motive and a fine hamon rounds it off inside an elegant saya, that ads to a major showpiece a well,and of course the Knightshop is ace for customer service and competative pricing (Posted on 18/02/2022)
