Kinda dissapointedReview by Philippe

The steel seems good, the weight is perfect, there's only two esthetic defaults, one at the pommel that makes it looks unachieved and another at the guard that isn't symetrical.

My main issue tho is that it says that the sword is sharp and yet I can't even cut throught a plastic bottle. Only the point is good for stabs. (Posted on 03/06/2019)
Well worth the moneyReview by Ralph Hoenig

This is my first real sword, so take everything I say with a grain of salt :)
Also, I haven't done any cutting yet (still in the process of sharpening)

Blade:
Very nicely polished with no flaws and somewhat sharp (definitely not cutting-ready, though) with a _very_ acute point (I expected as much from the pictures, but seeing it iRL is still different).
Except for the sharpness, no complaints there.

Hilt:
Pretty large gaps between the blade and the guard, accentuated by the center part of the guard being "bend" away from the blade (makes the sword stay in the scabbard, though) but I guess that is to be expected in that price-range.
The peen is ok-ish, I'd say. The pommel shows some signs of the peening but it isn't horrible.
The grip fits nicely in my medium sized hands (glove size 10) with a little space to spare, so a size 11 should be fine too. The leather wrapping looks nice too but I don't like the tapering of the grip towards the pommel all that much. Might be my inexperience, but I think I'd prefer a grip with a constant diameter.

Scabbard:
Wood, covered with leather and it holds the sword nicely. Otherwise it's pretty plain, but does the job - what more can you demand?

Handling:
Having had only experience with wall-hangers, I was surprised by how light the sword was. As I have just done a little swinging-around, I don't feel like I can judge the handling yet (also, with no other real swords to compare it to...)

Overall: As the heading says, definitely worth the money.
My two main requests would be a bit of a nicer peen and a sharper blade. (Posted on 27/01/2018)
