Ronin Katana Sword Company's entry level samurai swords are forged from 1045 steel and have been differentially hardened to produce a real hamon. These are designed as entry level backyard cutters and are rated for use on water bottles, pool noodles, and single soaked tatami mats. These katana should not be used on hard targets, as damage will occur to the blade. Thick hard plastic jugs may also cause damage. Note: As these katana feature a real hamon, every one will be slightly different.
