A replica of the massive mace wielded by the Dark Lord Sauron in the prologue of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. When Sauron's forces battled the Last Alliance of Elves and Men on the slopes of Mount Doom, Sauron emerged on the battlefield wearing blackened steel armor. In one iron gauntlet he held a massive six-bladed, black iron war mace. On one finger he wore the source of his power, The One Ring. With every swing of this terrible weapon Sauron crushed his foes, sending intimidation and fear throughout the ranks of all who would stand against him.

This replica of the actor scale prop used in the movie is crafted of reinforced fiberglass resin with an aged iron finish. Close attention to detail is a top priority in every piece, down to the intaglio-etched surface and corroded metal coloring. The staff of the Gandalf the Grey is a symbol of his status as an 'Istari', or Wizard. It was once owned by Radagast the Brown, crafted from an upturned, twisted sapling once crowned with twig and root-like protrusions, but now all broken and worn down. As well as being Gandalf's trusted walking stick and a fighting weapon when in need, it holds a deep magical power. Radagast's rune mark is carved into the side and the crown features a grooved shape that once held Radagast's blue crystal, now serving as a place for Gandalf to store his pipe. Pushed into the side of the staff is a nail spike which Gandalf uses as a tobacco tamper, and once used to scratch a rune into the door of Bilbo Baggins home in Hobbiton. United Cutlery's Staff of Gandalf the Grey is an authentic replica of the movie prop cast in polyresin with authentic details and coloring. The attached polyresin pipe and spike replicas are removable, and the staff comes with a polystone wall display that matches the display design of United's other staff replicas from The Hobbit.

One of the most powerful Wizards in all of Middle-earth, Gandalf the Grey joins the quest to reclaim the Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor and the great treasure that lies within its stone halls from a fire-breathing dragon, Smaug the Terrible. Gandalf’s staff appears to be a natural piece of wood, but the crown of the shaft holds something supernatural. Within the crown, the wood has grown around a hollow, white lattice-shaped bulb. The lattice is vaguely Elven in design and holds great power. At Gandalf’s command, he can cause the crown to illuminate and light his way at night, or to spark a blue flame to ignite a fire.

Features a translucent lattice within the crown that holds a high-intensity white LED (100 lumens, 50,000 hour lifespan). The light is activated by a hidden button in the side of the staff and runs on two replaceable AA batteries housed on the bottom of the shaft. Crafted from the molds of the actual film prop in hard polyresin, this hand-painted staff comes with an Elven-styled wall display plaque and a Certificate of Authenticity. Batteries are not included.
