Our range of European style crossbows date from the 15th and 16th centuries. They are hand crafted in Italy from hardwood and inlaid with floral decorations. The bowstrings are made from intertwined hemp strings and attached to tempered steel limbs. They feature working mechanisms and can be fired.

Our crossbows are primarily manufactured for display and are not very powerful or accurate. The maximum range of our crossbows is approximately 20 metres on larger models and 10 metres on shorter ones.

Comes complete with wooden bolt with natural feather fins.

This is a fabulous crossbow; beautifully crafted, a good weight and feels solid. Some assembly required and the instructions are fairly elementary but only took a few minutes to put it together. The bow feels really strong and there is a lot of tension when pulled back. The included bolt should do a comfortable 10+ metres and would do some damage. Nice that it actually works, but better still that it will look amazing mounted on the wall. (Posted on 17/01/2021)
