Gurkha Kukris & Military Knives

England started recruiting Gurkha for its army in 1816. Since then, their traditional edged weapons – kukris – have been part of the standard issue of Gurkha regiments in Great Britain, India, and Nepal. We offer a fantastic selection of kukris manufactured to official military specifications. The kukri that are manufactured by Windlass Steelcrafts are made in the same forge that began forging weapons for the British Army back in 1943. Our range of Kukris includes a Gurkha Officer’s Kukri with real horn grip and a Gigantic Ceremonial Kukri which is designed for traditional ritual purposes. Our Gurkha Assam Rifles Kukri was designed specifically for this regiment and is made to official specifications. Our Gurkha Service Kukri is a great value kukri for those not seeking military specifications.

This Gurkha kukri includes a wooden scabbard covered with black buffalo leather and a brass chape. At the back, there are two pockets for the smaller accompanying knives, the karda and chakmak. The holder for the belt loop is removable as required.

It has a full tang, which is riveted to the brass pommel end.

This Officer’s Kukri includes a wooden scabbard covered with black buffalo leather and a brass chape. At the back, there are two pockets for the smaller accompanying knives, the karda and chakmak. The holder for the belt loop is removable as required.
