Miniature Barrel Armour Knight

The barrel armour is a late Medieval Armour from Europe used between the 15th and 16th Centuries. The barrel armor was specially developed for fighting on foot. It is usually smooth or in folds (pleated skirt armor) and is attached to the lower breastplate. It protects the wearer up to about the knees.

He is shown with a large halberd resting before him, with its stock planted on the stand. This knight is crafted from pewter to provide a glorious silver-like gleam and is displayed standing on a black wooden plinth.
