Details
This line of swords features high carbon EN42J Spring Steel blades that have been forged and tempered to perform like their historical counterparts. They have a core hardness of 45HRC approx. with an edge hardness of 50HRC approx.
The hilts feature authentically styled forged guards and pommels constructed from steel, and wooden grips that are masterfully wrapped in leather cord for an aesthetic yet comfortable finish. They come complete with leather wrapped wooden scabbards.

Received my Kreigmesser today and I can highly recommend it, the level of fit and finish is outstanding, and for the price an absolute bargain.Price Value Quality
The sword is constructed with a peened tang on the pommel, with brass rivets fixing the handle scales to the tang, the cross guard is simple yet elegant design with understated taper and flair and the nagel also has a elegant fluted design and goes through the cross guard and peened to the guard. The blade has what I consider a classic messer shape with very good distal taper starting at 7mm dropping to 5mm at approximately half way up the blade and then 2.5mm at the tip.
