Description
Details
This type of bevor could be seen by end of the 15th century. It was the logical evolution in armour development. From the bascinet with aventail and visor, to the combination of sallet with bevor, there is an obvious but gradual improvement. In this combination the armour is rigid yet articulated at the neck providing great protection and efficiency. It is made in the style of central Europe circa 1480 to 1500. It is constructed from 16 gauge steel and is perfect for re-enactment.
Steel thickness may vary due to the handcrafted methods used on its manufacturing.
