HEMA Cards are predominately designed to help students of HEMA (Historic European Martial Arts) to learn the names of guards and cuts quickly with these easy to use reference cards. Cuts are shown in a unique 3rd person view to better show the angle of the cut. The cards can be used in class showing students the subtle variations of guards or as sparring/training selection tool etc.
For this pack, the drawings and names are based on Joachim Meyers 1568 The Art of Sword Combat and 1570 The Art of Combat treaties for the Longsword. 36 cards in a pack.
