Great piece to have as a display or decoration for Renactment use the top spike is pretty sharp so a few minutes with a grinder would do, The piece is Very nicely made with decoration punch work and 3 hole design on the Axe blade and also at the top of the Langets, the Langets themselves are very sturdy thick steel with countersunk holes for attachement to your shaft . At first sight out of the box I was well Pleased, I had wanted a weapon to go with a medieval armour display and I wanted a weapon, a nasty looking piece to go with the armour display instead of a plain sword, and after putting on a large pole (Which needed flattend for the Langets) using the very thick and sturdy Langets it turned out to be a great looking and well made piece with decoration punch work and 3 hole design on the Axe blade and also at the top of the Langets, Very Pleased with this purchase.
