Captain Jack Tricorn Hat
Inspired by the swashbuckling antics of Captain Jack, this is for those who still live by the "Code". Contrary to popular belief, the tricorn was not a military head covering that one pirate or another had also adopted during the course of his career. The tricorn was the advanced development of the wide-brimmed hats that were popular before 1690. The rolled or cocked brim was favoured because it directed the rain to your shoulders instead of allowing it to stream down your face. In the days before truly effective rain gear was invented, this was a definite plus!

Starting at around 1720, the tricorn found its way into middle class fashion and would have typically been worn with a braid. Pirates also followed the trend. Our genuine leather tricorn in dark brown comes with wide brim that you can fold up and fasten with straps yourself. Top grain leather with weathered, dark brown finish.
PLEASE NOTE: This leather tricorn is dark brown, not black as shown.
Available in S/M (58-59cm).

Swordswoman's Shirt - Black
In literature, there are many examples of women who have thrown off the chains of everyday life and gone out into the world to find something better. For the woman who wants to cut the fabric of her own life, we have a blouse with the perfect cut.
Learn More
Our black blouse with sleeve lacing is similar to men's Renaissance shirts, but for modesty's sake, the neckline does not plunge quite as deeply. The long, pointed cuffs lace up to fit a lady's wrists perfectly – and they stay out of the way during swordplay. The body of the blouse is gathered into the yoke for a billowing, romantic effect.
