Flashman Waistcoat with Hussar Braid
Our black vest with a generous V-neckline is made of 100% cotton velveteen. It is richly trimmed with imposing black & gold braid in the same pattern that hussars wore. The lacing at the back of this black velveteen vest with hussar braid adjusts for a comfortable fit. The buttons are the special feature, however. Three rows of antiqued brass buttons – one down the middle at one at either side – connected by crossbars embellish the front. Only the middle row is functional; the buttons in it go through loops to fasten the vest.

Our black velveteen vest with hussar braid matches our Flashman Coat with Hussar Braid perfectly, but is also a rakish garment when worn with a romantic shirt and trousers.

Pirate Waistcoat - Green
For the occasions when a simple shirt is too little and armour too much: our men's vest with lacing in green, 100% cotton combines well with lots of different garb.
Learn More
It is sleeveless and has a deeply plunging neckline, so this green vest provides plenty of freedom of movement and and gives the man wearing it a stately look. The cut of this men's vest emphasises the effect of very broad shoulders and the lacing creates a narrower waistline – something the ladies might also appreciate.

Celtic Chemise
In days of old when your garb clearly showed which class you belonged to and was very difficult to come by as well, clothing had to be handled with care. Everyone wore a chemise right next to their skin – it protected all the other garb from perspiration and had long sleeves so that elegant ladies could even use them as underdresses.
Learn More
Our traditional chemise has long, graceful sleeves decorated with lace trim and equipped with drawstrings so they can be gathered to the length required. The neckline is also adjustable. Also suitable for use as a nightgown!

Our brown baldric for left-handed warriors is designed to carry edged weapons. It is made of genuine leather and has a silver-coloured buckle at the front. Even if you are not using it to carry a weapon, it is made of brown leather so it is an ideal accessory for garb from the Middle Ages and Antiquity.
