Sword in the Stone Letter Opener
Excalibur (meaning to 'cut steel') was the great sword of King Arthur which 'gave light like 30 torches'. In the Arthurian stories, the name is given to two different swords - the one that the young king pulled from the anvil set in the stone before the church, and so proved his right to the kingship; and the other which the king took from the arm that rose above the surface of the lake, 'clothed in white samite, mystic, wonderful' and which eventually received back the sword when Arthur was dying.

Cathars Letter Opener and Shield Set
The Cathars—condemned as diabolical heretics by the Roman church—are often hailed as a manifestation of a separate, ‘primitive’ brand of Christianity.
