Between 1835 and 1836, Texans fought for their independence from Mexico. The most famous battle of the war centred around The Alamo, which was a missionary station that had been turned into a fort.

This knife is the exciting replica of a Bowie knife exhibited in the Alamo museum. Its blade has a number of unusual features: it curves to an extreme point and a plate of shining brass encases the back. In matching brass, the ends of the crossguard curve gracefully in opposite directions. The genuine wooden grip is straight at the side of the back but on the side of the sharp edge, it is slightly wavy for an improved grip. Our Alamo Bowie knife comes with a matching sheath in brown leather.

Its special feature is the blade: the upper third of its back is curved to bring the point somewhat closer to the sharp edge. Unlike other models, this Bowie knife does not have a false edge. Thanks to the symmetrical horn grip (which actually makes this knife a type of dagger), it is very comfortable to hold. The distinctive handguard has a simple look but is extremely effective at keeping your hand on the grip.

This Windlass hand axe features many traits common to the Norse hatchets we've come to love through the years. The solid, one-piece forged head is strong X46Cr13 high-grade stainless steel with a 52 RC. The comfortably contoured handle is Sissoo, a North Indian hardwood and it's capped with a handsome genuine bone butt cap. Even better are the Norse engravings unique to our axe that are deeply etched on both sides of the handle, and on the bone end cap is a depiction of Thor's mighty hammer, Mjolnir.

This Windlass Cobra Steel survival knife is based on the deadly Spartan Short Sword. The blade on the Lakonia was shorter than other classical Greek swords and the Spartans said it was to bring them “one step closer to the enemy.” Hard rubber scales on a full profile tang. Made to current military specifications, the Gurkha Assam Rifles Kukri is hand forged from high carbon steel and comes with a regulation sheath. This kukri has a 13-1/2" long blade that is double fullered. It also features the traditional religious notch symbolic of the trident (3 pronged spear) of Shiva. At a little over 1/4" thick, this is a very powerful chopping blade. The polished, native hardwood handle is reinforced by a brass bolster and a brass pommel with a raised lion's head decoration.
