  • Medieval Bar Mace

This staff-shaped mace is a simple weapon. It may lack a certain degree of elegance, but its massive solidity more than makes up for that. And it is very easy to use: pick it up by the wooden grip and start landing blows. When this medieval Italian mace gets going, neither sword nor armor nor bones are safe. Form follows function in this case: it destroys everything it comes into contact with. This mace is nothing less than the advanced development of the club and was used by hosts of foot soldiers and fighting farmers throughout Europe.

Our special model is based on a mace found during excavations on the Thames River. It features a two handed grip made of wood wrapped with a double layer of leather and a pommel to balance out the weight of the crossed steel plates.

  • Merovingian Seax

The seax (also called sax, seaxe, and hadseax) was the weapon of choice of Germanic tribes between the early Middle Ages and the Viking era. There are many variations with many different blade lengths: the Merovingian Seax was used as a tool as well as a weapon.

Our lightweight broad seax has a distinctive blade form and its cutting edge is on the long side of the single-edged blade. A decorative lozenge pattern and stripes are etched into the blade on both sides. Brass studs in the wooden grip add to the decorative effect and also give you a better grip on this seax. The leather scabbard is riveted at the top and bottom and laces on one side.

  • Viking Thane Axe

This Windlass hand axe features many traits common to the Norse hatchets we've come to love through the years. The solid, one-piece forged head is strong X46Cr13 high-grade stainless steel with a 52 RC. The comfortably contoured handle is Sissoo, a North Indian hardwood and it's capped with a handsome genuine bone butt cap. Even better are the Norse engravings unique to our axe that are deeply etched on both sides of the handle, and on the bone end cap is a depiction of Thor's mighty hammer, Mjolnir.

  • Spartacus Crixus Leather Belt

At the centre of the hit TV series, "Spartacus: Blood and Sand," is the historical portrayal of the legendary slave revolt in the Roman Republic. Alongside the protagonist, the Gallic gladiator, Crixus, plays a prominent role – he was, after all, the best gladiator far and wide before Spartacus showed up on the scene.

And the ambitious Gallic fighter's past glory lives on in this exact replica of the original TV costume! The Crixus leather belt is made of thick, sturdy leather in brown, and the surface pattern gives it an antique look. The wide cut is most impressive on the front at 19 cm – here a striking metal appliqué figures prominently in the centre, an ornamental horse in aged bronze. At 20 cm long and 13 cm tall, this elaborately crafted decorative element is a true eye-catcher. Criss cross lacing with leather straps embellishes the entire edge of the belt, bringing this authentic replica of the TV costume together. Three adjustable buckles and straps at the back guarantee an individual fit.

  • Lightweight Gambeson

The gambeson was developed as padding for armour and extra protection from sword thrusts, but it could also be worn without armour as a heavyweight, everyday tunic. Outer garb like this comfortable, black quilted gambeson made of 100% cotton was very popular from the early Middle Ages until the Renaissance.

The lacing at the neckline slit allows you to close it up to the stand-up collar as tightly as required. Below the hips, our black quilted gambeson has slits at the front and back to provide more freedom of movement.
