Our stylish Light Sparring Hoodies feature integrated foam pads in the shoulders/upper arms and elbows/forearms. These pads can be removed for washing, or when you simply don’t require the protection they afford.

The collar features a blade catcher and integrated plastic throat protector backed with a foam pad to absorb impact. This is securely fastened by Velcro and is also removable. The long zip is reinforced by a press stud at the top and bottom and the hood can also be unzipped and removed if required. It features reinforced elbow patches and zipped pockets.

Manufactured with 350N puncture-resistant fabric.

This buckler has been developed with some of the top HEMA schools in Europe with durability and price in mind. It is constructed from 14 gauge steel making it durable enough to take the abuse that everyday practice in the salle throws at it. It is ideal for both I.33 and Bolognese systems.

The boss is well riveted to the face of the buckler and the grip/handle is raised at the back to allow for a padded glove, but not raised to the extent that it adversely affects manoeuvrability. A great buckler at a great price!

Our Forearm and Elbow Protectors by Red Dragon are designed for HEMA and feature heavy-duty cotton construction. They feature 7 padded articulated plastic plates that envelop the forearm for complete protection. They are held firmly in place with 2 elasticated straps with Velcro fastenings. Our Tourney Series Medieval Sparring Swords from Kingston Arms will set a new standard at this price point of re-enactment weaponry. The Kingston Arms Sport Feder is ideal for clubs, beginners and even seasoned practitioners that want a light, fast, safe and affordable sparring sword for HEMA longsword sparring. This federschwert was designed to be safe in the thrust by flexing in the last third of the blade while keeping the rest of the sword stiff in the bind. The tip is slightly flared in thickness as well and can be used as it is with proper equipment or fitted with a leather mask or plastic tip for an added degree of safety. 

Other features include a ramped thumb guard, allowing easy placement of a gloved thumb onto and off the blade during guard transitions. The pommel is indexed to the flat of the blade, making it second nature to distinguish proper edge alignment with the rearward hand. The wood core grip is in a well rounded rectangular cross section and tightly bound with an overwrap of cord to provide a firm grip.
