  • DAMAGED - Roman Pugio Dagger - 2nd Century

DAMAGE: Scratches on the blades surface.
    Quantity: 1

The distinct shape of the Roman Pugio dagger blade was excellent for close quarters fighting, and was used throughout the legions. Although swords and knives were generally not worn by Roman civilians within the boundaries of the "Pax Romana", barbarians and bandits were certainly to be found in the outlands, and a merchant or trader best go armed. No doubt many an old legionnaire must have found it easier to keep his balance with the familiar weight on his hip as he worked his farm in new won territory.

Our Roman Pugio Dagger is based on finds in the British Museum collection. The wood hilt is paired with a fully tempered high carbon steel blade. Comes complete with a wood scabbard covered in leather with brass parts.

  • DAMAGED - Stage Combat Rapier

DAMAGE:The pommel, guard and grip are all loose, not visible in photos.
    Quantity: 1

Stage combat rapiers have to meet different requirements from battle-ready rapiers. In order to minimize the risk of injury from cuts and thrusts during stage combat with fencing weapons, this silver stage combat rapier has back edges that are at least 3 mm thick everywhere and it even has a flattened point. It weighs a little less than a kilogram, so our silver stage combat rapier is light and highly manageable.

Good balance is not the only characteristic that makes this stage combat rapier manageable – its grip is also very important. Because it is wrapped with both smooth and braided silver-coloured wire, it is especially comfortable to grasp. The delicate knuckle bow and finger guard give this stage combat rapier a graceful, romantic look and also provide finger protection when a technique requires them to be placed above the crossguard. It includes a leather scabbard with a silver-coloured mount and chape.

    Total Length: 109cm
    Blade Length: 92.5cm
    Grip Length: 10cm
    Weight: 0.96kg

  • DAMAGED - Battlecry Spanish Rapier

DAMAGE: Tang shredded so blade & hilt are detached.
    Quantity: 3

After hundreds of requests, Battlecry has added a classic rapier to the popular line of blackened, uniquely finished versions of history's great swords. This rapier features a very complex Spanish-style hilt and faceted pommel. The grip is hand-wound with blackened wire with woven wire rings on top and bottom.

The hand-forged, high carbon steel, fully tempered blade features a diamond cross-section to strengthen it for thrusting. Top-quality, genuine leather scabbard with deeply engraved floral pattern on the throat and tip. This type of sword was deadly effective as a dueling weapon. The 1065 high carbon steel has a darkened, battle-hardened finish, so it’s well protected from the frequent rust spots and stains that occur so often from everyday practice and exposure to the elements. The blade has an extra-wide tang and is tempering to a low 50s RC. The blade is thick for strength and peened to the pommel. This pre-sharpened blade has gone through rigorous testing.

The hands-on nature of the manufacturing by master smiths makes this line unique. Includes a certificate of authenticity signed by each smith that touched your blade through every step of the forging process.

    Total Length: 112cm
    Blade Length: 90cm
Blade Material: 1065 High Carbon Steel
    Blade Width: 2.6cm
    Edge: Sharp
    Weight: 907g

  • DAMAGED - Rapier Belt & Frog (Holder) - Left Hip

DAMAGE: There is a split on one of the straps.
    Quantity: 1

This leather belt with an elaborate frog provides the perfect means of carrying edged weapons – for right-handers. With its nine straps, the elaborately designed belt and frog have enough room for scabbards with maximum widths of approx. 5cm.

Because each of its straps can be adjusted individually, the frog also holds slim edged weapons such as rapiers. The belt can be adjusted to fit a right-handed warrior individually, which makes it a universal leather belt with an elaborate frog.
