Welcome to our Re-enactment section where you will find all of our Re-enactment approved lines from dedicated Re-enactment suppliers such as GDFB and Marshal Historical. The items featured in this section are manufactured and approved for Re-enactment and Living History use, whether it be on or off the battlefield. The weaponry and armour in this section is either designed for battlefield use, with a few exceptions that can either be modified to meet the required safety standards or are working historical replicas that are designed for Living History. The clothing that is listed in this section is manufactured to historical designs and is mostly made from period appropriate fabrics such as wool or linen.

  • Wanderer's Cloak - Green

  • Norman Nasal Helm - 16 gauge

    The Norman "Nasal" Helmet was based on earlier Viking Helmet designs and could be worn over a chainmail coif or with chainmail aventail to protect the neck. The nasal bar was designed to protect the face but meant that Knights were often unrecognisable. The famous Bayeux Tapestry shows William the Conqueror tipping his helmet back to reveal his face and prove to his soldiers that he was still alive!

    Our Norman Nasal Helmet features a reinforced 10 gauge nasal bar, leather liner a buckled leather chin strap.  It is constructed from 16 gauge steel making it suitable for most re-enactment groups.

  • Bearded Axe

    Cutting tools of the Vikings commonly doubled as weapons of war when these famed raiders sailed on pillaging forays. Their axes were certainly top of the list and came to symbolise the terror spread among their foes. Varying greatly in size, from small throwing axes to the mighty Danish Axe, these were the most commonly used weapons of these Nordic warriors.

    This Bearded Axe is fabricated in carbon steel with a hardwood shaft and will withstand light use. A good match for many Viking and medieval personae at 31" overall.
