They seem indestructible when used against the same weapon, going pretty hard for many sessions we have not managed to break anything. The steel mesh of a mask could make this a different story though, I would imagine. But we tend to do without.
Size, weight, and shape is within the ballpark, they definitely feel more like a sword than a stick.
Handles are the weakest point, no idea what they were thinking. They feel alright, but a tad thick and the spiral pattern is just weird. Also wishing for a flatter back.
Once you start bashing each other and having fun you pretty much stop worrying. (Posted on 12/03/2023) - Fragile fun whackerReview by Sondre

They are very fun and very safe to use. As long as you're wearing gloves, a cup and a mask, you can swing as hard as you want without fear of hurting someone. Like with real sabers, they're balanced pretty far out, which helps compensate for the low weight of these trainers. The fabric on the outside of the blade is very smooth, so cuts to bare skin won't cause burn marks like LARP weapons will. This fabric does tear easily though.
They don't bend, but you can still stab safely as long as you're careful.
The handles are not very comfortable.
